Possibly...possibly.

Of course, the book I'm betaing right now has a character named Phelan. Which means I keep imagining him to look like Phelous...

Because I'm a HUGE nerd.

Okay then! Agreement!

I'm off to dreamland now, guys. I've repped you, BG.

NIGHT. Thanks to my readers, again. <3

WELL, IT'S PRETTY AMAZING SO FAR MY BETA NOTES ARE USELESS.

I would love to say I helped a teeny tiny bit, but in reality my beta notes/conversations about this book have pretty much been what you've just described.

Let's be useless together. :tongue

Missus, rep me your Tumblr.

Scrivener makes me want to plot, haha. I was reminding myself of the features earlier.

Yay!

I realised last night, that if I go to Starbucks a lot to write, it'll affect my money. And I have to be careful with my money this summer. Fuck.

If you can't get published in the UK, you should give the US a shot. We love British stuff over here, lol.

Missus: That didn't work for some reason. :(

My username is jhordankills. Maybe if you just search for my username, my blog will pop up. I am still new to the whole tumblr thing in a way. It's a learning experience, lol.

You can go to Starbucks and not buy anything. I did it all the time during the school year. About once a week, I would treat myself to a drink.

I've actually only tried US agents, since the US market is a lot bigger. Sadly, interest in my adult UF has been pretty limited. I'm hoping that people might get a bit more excited about the YA UF.

CUTE PIGGY.

Thanks, HR. I suppose I can just buy things when I'm thirsty/hungry. I have sat in Starbucks without anything for ages with my friends, so...

I loved all of the action in the first few chapters. It shows that your lead female character is a fighter and a survivor. Maybe literary agents feel like that would intimidate the readers since most of them enjoy helpless heroines who are always saved by everyone.

Yeah, from what I hear the market for UFs is a lot lot LOT stronger in YA. In the states, at least. YA is the best, though. :tongue

I like this thought. My books are just too awesome for agents. :tongue
