Curse you Zoom, now I'm gonna have to go catch up on all the MLP I've missed. Which is... kind of a lot.

Fortunately, IT'S ALL AMAZING!

So, who wants to beta Shattered Sky?

Promo: You can take a soldier out of the war but you can't take the war out of a soldier. For Drusilla Xao, the war comes every night when she relieves the battles she survived...and all the friends and comrades who didn't. Released on medical leave, she's hiding in the outback of northern Quebec with her lover, Sarah Cayer. But the world waits for no one...

(Former) General Daniel Lau, Drusilla's commanding officer, is being brought up for crimes against humanity and criminal incompetence. Delighted with a chance to "get back" at the man who'd left her brigade out to dry, Dru and Sarah head to Shanghai, a city of glass and metal...and secrets. There, Dru finds herself drawn into an increasingly complex chain of political machinations, media campaign and plots.

Can she survive underneath this...SHATTERED SKY.

(YA novel of 56,000 words, sequel to Debris Dreams)

Ummm EFF YES. I love (okay well I am very used to and interested in... love might be the wrong word) military stuff of this sort. I might even be a good person for it. o.0

Don't worry! I'll provide a short synop! Plus, I wrote it trying to be accessible to peeps who haven't read DD, as a lot of important details are mentioned and described.

Hopefully.

EDIT: I find it ironic, Margo, that you want to read Shattered Sky when...it's actually fairly light on the military thing. DD is the military sci-fi. SS is more of a character study.

It's a good thing DD is getting PUBLISHED IN A FEW MONTHS!

I'm still excited about that.

:D

And, if I can swing it, I will make this a trillogy! And there will be people wearing t-shirts based off my work and stupid fans that will go, "Wait, Drusilla Xao is HALF CHINESE!?" when they cast her in the movie...

Sure! Just rep me your E-mail.

Now, I'm doing some final edits, so if you haven't gotten it yet, that's why.

ALSO, some people haven't given me their E-mail.

That's seriously awesome, Tally! I love it when I get to talk to authors I like on Twitter (one actually followed me... Don't ask why...), but to have your favorite author tweet out a link to your blog is WAY better!

And congrats again, Zoom, on the sale! I'd beta read, but I have three research projects due next week...
