A little bit of everything

Hello everyone! I have poked around a bit, and I am excited to dive into the resources available here. You people seem so nice and friendly.

I guess I will tell you about myself. I am a young writer seeking after a writing degree in Communication. I don't have a lot of published work under my belt, but I do have talent. I'm looking to publish a novel in the next year about a boy finding himself in a dystopian society while he tries to prevent his family from being torn apart.

I'm also looking into freelance writing, but I find that it might be tricky because one I don't really have published articles that I feel are worth sharing and two I don't have a hobby/interest I am passionate about outside writing.

I hope I can get to know some of you!

Pyekett, I know of the freelancing forum, but I haven't visited it yet. There is just so much to explore here!
