Hounding After Hours

Yeah.

When adults come in to watch my Girl's dance class but don't have a kid in the class, or at least one with them, it kind of puts them on my radar with a little blip over their head.

Maybe you could bring one or both of yours to watch though?

It's just for girls/women, I think. I'm not sure bringing my boys would be less weird.

What I *should* do is just go to a roller derby. But they never work with my schedule.

Oh---and at the park. When I see a guy watching the playground...I'm always, "okay, dude, where's your person?" and watching to see if he is matched up with one of the kids. Sometimes, I swear, they seem not to be.

I had to fight against this all the time when I took my daughter to the park.

Even when it was clear I was there with a kid, I swear some of the mothers thought there had to be something wrong for a dad to be at the park with their kid during a weekday.

I could use some of those, too. Need to turn my tomatoes into sauce.

I ended up with a bunch of tomatoes, as I suspected I would. I've been eating them sliced with olive oil, vinegar and salt and pepper, mixed with sliced string cheese (because I'm fancy like that ) and pretending it's one of those expensive side deli salads I drool over at the grocery store.

Don't use plain flour. Use this stuff.

Works better than anything else I've ever tried if you're working from scratch. Makes a great thickener for other things, too.
