:D I have so many Kindle books that I'll never be able to read 'em all. All freebies thanks to twitters linking to them and giving them away. Many reviews to be written if I ever get them read.

Fortunately, after opening the receipt email, I found that this one was free, too. I have a ton of Amazon credit built up but I'm super stingy about using it. I usually find a way to read a book for free first (library and such) and *then* if I love it I buy it.

I have severe buyer's remorse issues.

I need an Easter avie, do you think a dragon eating a cow is Easterly? What if there's a rabbit in the pic?

I think a lamb or a sheep would be better...

I've never heard of the "cow of God" :tongue

But  Go with your gut. And the bunny would be a nice touch.

I don't eat sheep. Too much wool.

Besides I'm not satan, I don't want to eat the Lamb of God at Easter. :O

*goes to search for dragon pics with bunnies in them.

Woot! I could have a new job as early as Monday. I'll hear back later this afternoon, but it'd be for a tech writer position. The recruiter is shooting for $15/hr and the employer needs someone right away (as in, they wanted someone to come in this very afternoon). Fingers crossed, prayers spoken, invocations made.

The company I'd be working at is legit (located their address on Google and everything). The recruiting company appears to be legit.

It'd only be about an 8-mile commute on surface streets, probably only about 5-6 if I used the highway.

Woot! I just got the call - I start Monday morning at 8am at $15/hr as a technical writer for a hydraulic parts manufacturing company in Tulsa (barely 8 miles from my apartment) and the job has a chance of going permanent after 90 days.

Woot!

It'd be a temp position and could last anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months, but the recruiter I talked to said he'd use the time to find me something else somewhere and would have no problems doing that given my talents.

Night: out of creamer? That is a tragedy!
Greg: Congrats! If it doesn't work out, there's always Wal-Mart. :?D

Blunt, I will hunt you down and inflict extreme bodily harm upon your personage or upon the personage of the person you designate if you happen to be 200 lbs of raw muscle trained by Marine Force Recon or SpecOps.

:)

I'm 160 lbs trained by Captain Morgan and The Marlboro Man. As for my designated victim...just go to Hump 'n' Grunt and take your pick.
