Well, I wasn't entirely an angel. I was just good at not getting caught.

Oh I was a hellion and would say 90% of the spankings I received were thoroughly deserved. I won't even pretend otherwise. And you know what. Some of the stunts I pulled were totally worth punishments.

My problem was I just was way too honest. "Did you do..." Yes "why?" "Because well. I enjoyed it." You know the thing where they tell you an honest answer will keep you out of trouble. Proved that one wrong MANY times.

Ah.

I learned early on I could talk my way out of things. Not always, but often enough for it to become second nature.

That "honest" portion of the Scout Oath was a real issue.

Mine was not out of honor. Just a pride filled honest. *sigh* Demented child/teen I was.

Apparently we were so sleepy/lazy/drunk-and-curled-up-in-the-corner that we didn't even notice the newb escaping. We are off our game, guys.

Watched Primal Grill on the tube this morning. Grilled mussels, garlic bread, caveman steaks. Watching that show always makes me want to cook.
