Drat, drat, drat! Too many ideas, too little time to write 'em.

I gotta' find my notebook so I can keep writing these things down...
You are telling me. I am attempting to harness all my ideas from two years ago still!

Speaking of which...*cough cough* :D

If anyone wants to beta a 4500 word short, let me know. It's giving me a terrible amount of trouble. And I don't want to post the whole thing in SYW.

If it doesn't need to be done ASAP, Soapy, shoot it my way.

I'll take a look.

A hard, brutal, red-pen in hand look.

Just make sure to haul the ideas out of the notebook from time to time.

So that you don't end up like me. I've literally got things in the notebook from over 10 years ago. Of course, I like to think these things are just waiting for the right moment/story.

But the truth is I kind of forget about them until I flip through the pages again

So once again, I try to get out of work on time and I'm stuck working overtime because of somebody else screwing up. As I told the boss, I have crap to do! This check better be decent and they'd better not screw it up. Of course, they gave me a $10 Culver's card, which is nice because I'm broke, but I'd rather be able to get stuff done.

Tell me about it.

Hell, I'd honestly rather have the parking sticker even above and beyond benis. Which I don't have, either.

Ted, I'm adjunct.

Which means they get the hours out of us, without the expense of giving us benefits, or parking stickers (which, to be fair, full-time faculty don't get either). Or anything else other than a paycheck that is also not anywhere close to being fair compensation for the hours we work.

But, it's a job. And a job I like. So while I can, and shall, complain, I shan't do so too much.

But I'd still kill for parking.

Lakes are terrible places to dump bodies. You're better off somewhere like a swamp. Swamps are fantastic places for bodies, because of roots and things that hold the body under. Or, at least, I think that's true.

This is why you weigh them down.

And trust me, there are plenty of bodies scattered throughout the Great Lakes that one more won't make much of a difference.

:D

Swamps are good for the local wildlife, though, if you're in gator country.

:gone: Um...maybe I should have another look at it first. *slides MS behind back*

I'd honestly rather have the parking sticker even above and beyond benis.
*snicker*

Wait--

*rereads*

Never mind.

*rereads again*

No, yeah--it's still funny. :tongue

Morning, hounds. :Coffee: I think it's going to be a library day. If I can get in motion.

Morning, Soapy. Coffee sounds good. I'm procrastinating getting ready for the day. In a bit I'm going to lunch then to the movie Warm Bodies with a friend. Right now something totally cheesy sounds good. I am in major need of a brainless movie to laugh at.

Awww, Abby, you're crushing him. Can't you see he just needs an excuse to play with his new toy?

It's okay, Ted. :Hug2:
