You know, you're right. As long as I can do it anonymously, I'm going to call them. Thanks for the push.
Good luck!

It looks like an egret; but I also call them white herons, even though I know better.I felt like taking some nature pics today.
First I spotted some ducks and perhaps a white heron?
Those are very nice! Then I zoomed in on some pretty orange flowers.
Great photos, AR! I especially like the first one, and how all of that energy, amid a placid background, thunders toward the viewer in a forceful rush that's almost audible. This is from about a year and a half ago when I lived in Sioux Falls, SD of Falls Park, one of my favorite places to visit in the city.
At first I thought the people in the photo were a slight distraction to the scene; but the more I admired the image, the more I realized how they add perspective to the drama, and how utterly minuscule they appear by comparison to the natural forces they are witnessing. Thanks That's one of my favorite photos for the same reason. That river has such a soul. I have probably a hundred pictures of it. It is almost like a spiritual experience to stand on the rocks overlooking it and feel the energy coming from the water.

You lived in Sioux Falls?? I've lived in, near, or around SF for about six years. And I LOVE Falls Park.
I thought I recognized you bobbing around in that picture:You lived in Sioux Falls?? I've lived in, near, or around SF for about six years. And I LOVE Falls Park.
Ah, I bet Angie is just replaying that scene from A River Runs Through It...with Brad Pitt plunging downriver. She'll wash up in an eddie in no time.
