Lovely pictures here!

Here are some of my favourite photos, of the "Buttercup Fields" near where I live, in summer 2014, which was a fabulous year for buttercups.

Arizona is blooming again. Who says cacti can't be beautiful?

Great pics. But you need to show them what that last one looks like when it opens.

While hiking, I found a multiple pieces of bubblegum on a cactus. It almost looks natural.

Been perusing this thread thanks to a suggestion from AW Admin. Some really incredible photos here! In a previous era, I spent a fair amount of time behind the lens. As time permits, I may pop in and share a photo or two.

Posting now only to add this thread to my subscribed list :)

Ok, finally found one of the photos I am prouder of that's worth sharing in a thread with "stunning" in the title, though probably not on part with many that have been shared here:

Yeah, Canon 40D with a 70-200 - I was standing about 5 feet away from the bird cooking some dinner on the grill on my deck at the time when I heard this buzzing. Looked back, there she was! Slowly and quietly kept my distance until in the house then dashed off to get the camera. On my return a minute later she was still there...got about 15-20 shots of her but this was the best

Beautiful shot, CBJ! What makes it for me is the solid black background. It really makes the hummer pop... like something you'd see in National Geographic.
