Heard the canine news on WBZ this morning and was so excited I couldn't go back to sleep.
Then once the sun came up three inches of flurries I saw on the porch were north (key word, I think) of twelve everywhere else. Went out in the company of my snow blower an took care of that so I can at least get the 4wd pickup out of the garage and headed up the road now. you know... like maybe if there was someplace to go that needed going to.
Walked past the mirror on the way in and thought I was in the living room watching one of those arctic documentry thingys. Beard should thaw out by lunch time. Cold enough to wrinkle Rob's blueberries out there.

This is the time of year they go and collect those deer and moose statues you see on lawns. A heavy coat of spray-on epoxy varnishy coating (the clear kind) applied before they thaw by-passes the taxidermist. That's where the profit is.
