I'll let it fester over night, then edit it and post it tomorrow.

You think I make sense on these posts, you ought to read my blogs.

Nah .. a string with a slidy thing on it

could'nt even google a better answer when I tried.

Yep. I can't figure out what the slidy thing is called, but after much brain racking, I remembered the name of the other piece. Drawstring.

*lowers head in shame*

got to twenty five below last night. I understand the strippers got down to two layers and it took four helpful gentlemen to pull the pole dancer loose.

Wow! I've never seen temps that low... I freeze at about 45 degrees fahrenheit.

We had 15 degrees last year for 5 days! In Arizona.

Not much of the plant life survived, and what did had frost damage.

Knocked out the bees too. :(

That is the coldest I have ever seen it and I never want to see that again.

The ground froze solid and they actually stopped construction projects out here for a few days.
*that was a new one.

15 degrees is seriously cold for the maryland-DC beltway area too. But if we don't get at least a week of hard freeze then the color of the tulips is off and we don't get a mosquito and fly larva die off which means the skys are darkend by swarms of stinging, biting disease carrying insects.

...and my 'Queen of the Night' 'Black' Tulips come up a sickly color of mauve.

Doesn't seem to hurt our bees, though.

Having sampled the froth from last nights brew, I discovered I was disappointingly more cognizant than I imagined. Making only a few aesthetic changes and correcting a rare misspelling, I published in my blog.

A concise history of the world. Chapter 1

For those of you have a clear undersatndng of the very beginning of the planet Earth and the next few years, this is something to avoid. For the small remainder, you are my 'special' audience.

the url in the sig here should get you there. Pause and contemplate a whole new outlook on life before you click on it.

I actually have no idea of how cold it is here, now. I see snow. I have no intention of going out into that hostile environment until Monday. No paycheckie weckie....no leavie housie while precipitation abounds.

that's not what killed the bees *caughMonsantocaugh*

Well ours are Africanized Bees now. They killed off all our honey bees and bumble bees about 5 years ago, and took over.

But if the temp drops below 35 they die off. They aren't equipped for the cold.

**Aggressive little suckers. They like dark colored clothing, and their first instinct is to go for your eyes.

*I always wear sunglasses in Spring. Always. They don't understand the mirrored surface and finally go away.
