Yeah, that's the one.

I feel really bad for the writers caught up in it. It went from hot mess to  x100 very quickly.

I'm not anywhere near publishing, but it is so good to know that I can explore those threads here and learn soooo much.

Hello hello hello Cantina.

Quickly dropping in then heading out in search of food. LadyAce is out with The Gals so I'm on my own for dinner.

Which is why I'm going to In-N-Out for burgers and fries.

I shouldn't, really, but what the hell. :D

I went over and read the Firefly&Wisp stuff on BR&BC. Every time I go over there, I feel like I'm walking into Crazy Land, but this one was a whole new level of insane.

Wow. Just wow.

We made burgers & fries. A local meat processor makes really tasty burgers. Really tasty. :D I am reading right now. You can't tell I did some epic cleaning today, but I pitched a bunch of junk. And Operation Organized Deep Freeze = Success.

...on my pirate ship.
Was it that one about Firefly and Wisp? I saw a bit of that and it was a DOOZY.

Okay 4000 words for the day and I am calling it quits. I'm trying to push myself wordcount-wise these days because I'm not working any more, so I have no excuse for not getting BIC and WOP.

However, 4000 is a nice round number and it brings me to about quarter of the way through my little novella :D

Now it is time for late-night pizza and Avatar: the Last Airbender.

Congrats!!! That's a great WC for the day. :D

The whole thing was so unbelievable. It's like people don't realize how easy it is to check outlandish claims. :(

Little spider, why makest thou a resting-place of mine shower? For lo! I hath chased thee twenty minutes and ten to return thee to thy woodland home, and still thou dost elude me. T'would break mine heart to see thee drown'd!

*puts hand on chest*

*gaspgasp convulse choke*

*falls over, thrashes*

...

Oh. I forgot to hyperventilate. *resumes thrashing, hyperventilates*

*eventually goes still*

"Where's Sian when we need her!"

*continues CPR*

"Umm... I'm not giving you mouth to mouth."

January: Ace shirtless, with whip, fedora, posing in front of an ancient Mayan ruin in the Amazon.

February: BigWords, in kilt and sword, on top of a cliff in some wilderness.

March: Boston wearing only a golden fleece, on the deck of a trireme.

April: Reservoir Angel, again with the shirtless, doing the "sexy male librarian" thing with horn-rimmed glasses, couple of books, in the stacks of some Victorian library.

May......

My invention is flagging, Rose, help me out here!

May have to extend this to non-Cantina-ites to have enough candidates.
