And otherwise, what's up people? I've finished all my written exams (thank god), and just have the OSCE on monday. 8 minutes with 14 automatic fail points that determines if I pass this unit.

I'm a bit over all this. Three weeks is a bit too much.

I think I can now say I'm a professional editor. Publisher just released one of the books I edited. And my name is listed as the editor. OMG.

Now to get one of my own books published! LOL.

Very, very cool. Have you gone outside and done the happy dance under the stars yet? Because you should :)

Automatic fail points? That sounds intimidating.

Yessum. They're in bright red on our assesment sheet. We walk in and forget to say that we're wearing gloves (even if we are actually wearing them), and that's it, regardless how the rest of the scenario goes.

I understand the logic, but I wish we had more than one chance. It's quite easy to screw stuff up when you're nervous.

yayyyyyyyyyyyyy! *dances*

that's pretty cool. that means you'll be getting aspiring authors sidling up to you at tea parties and asking you to look over their work, no?

:p

Gloves for what?

Or would I rather not know?

:D

Just because - part of standard precautions: gloves and goggles.

Although, I might actually remember to say it outloud if I make up a crazy reason for it.

It's just obvious, so I forget the need to say it. Like asking if there's any major haemorrhage. There is no blood, so I presume, and then I forget to ask the assessor.

*goes off to think of all the things you could have gloves on for*

If I start giggling mid assessment, I blame you boston ;)

Wouldn't be the first time.

Well, might be the first time for *you,* but not the first time for me.

Wait. I mean the blaming thing. Possibly the giggling. Nothing else that can be construed from that.

Might be time for me to be going now...

:gone:

I'm probably more likely to be found at the bar. LOL

But I suppose so. I've been amazed at how many new followers on da tweeter I've gotten recently.

Whatever you do, don't go see your dental surgeon! ;)

Ugh. Don't even mention dental surgeons. You should see my poor kid. Bruised to Bejesus.

AAAGH. Three weeks *is* too much. Glad you're nearly done.

Good morning cantinas :Sun:

For the past two days I have done my word count before I have done everything except eat breakfast and drink coffee. you would not believe what this has done for my state of mind - actually, i suspect you would.

Hopefully we will have a connected sink some time today. Himself is currently twidling with pipes. Although he was interrupted earlier long enough to have the following conversation:

Next door neightbour: We've got a spare television here, is it any use to you?
Himself: No, sorry. We don't watch television.
NDN: :Jaw:

Oooo, time to get excited. I think we may have sinkage, er, well, no, perhaps that's not what I meant :e2drown:

Good morning friends!

Parents are gone and I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing day of catching up on cleaning, some shopping for Father's Day and writing. Baby K is slowly making the transition to sleeping at night so I'm feeling pretty rested today.

And now Little K is up. Time to go be a mommy. :)

Thank you. If any of you have spare time this weekend, could you possibly answer this question? It's pretty general, so I popped it over in basic writing, but any help would be appreciated.

It's kind of building a wall in my story atm.
