Glad you're back, and I hope whatever's going on settles down/improves for you soon.
Writing is not the only outlet for that kind of energy. Is there some non-writing creative thing you can work on? Drawing large maps, character sketches, making models of space ships, etc., while normally cat-vacuuming of the most insidious sort, aren't bad ways to burn off some of that energy in a tangentially useful-to-your-writing way. Or, y'know, if you play anything, pick up an instrument and try to write songs AS one of your characters. Sometimes a change of pace is a good thing.
I made someone cry in a job interview once. It was deeply awkward.

YOU.On the subject of doing other creative things besides writing, I like to color. Like in coloring books. I cant actually draw but I'm pretty good at staying inside the lines.
I think my non-writing creativity gets sucked up by cooking and my fledgling 'stachery.
