It's FRIDAY!
My musical day started with "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol.
(Car's transmission didn't like being floored first thing in the morning. Go figure.)

That's a good one for the start of the day.

Morning all

No news from Kricket yet? May the labor be with her... (or something

I was wondering the same thing.

Thanks. The test is Monday, so it'll be wine and unrestrained interpretive dancing books and practice tests all weekend long.

Test?

There's a test?

Oh my!!!

P.A.N.I.C!!!

ION, the leaflet for the town's literary festival has just landed in my inbox. (Oh, irony, how I love thee!), Anyhoo, they have Joe Abercrombie this year. Methinks I am a going.

Ooo, coffee and doughnuts. What a nice chap that Ace is.

Still haven't written very much. However I have drawn two pieces of map, and visited my local library. Does that count?

Yes, it does.

ETA: I have also done limited writing but worked out some past history of Bay City and drew more detailed street maps. So yes, they count.

I'm home dealing with rampaging toddlers (last day of school vacation week) and trying to pack/clean, which is hard to motivate myself on with the new house still being up in the air. Meanwhile, story I finished is off to my long-suffering Number One Beta Reader, so it'll be a few days before I hear back from her on that.

Really, want to go back to bed and sleep some more, but ain't gonna happen.

Thanks for the nice words on the griffin. It was fun to make.

I'm at work and I want to nuke a FrameMaker template from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

(Or, "Ann discovers the person who made the template didn't know how to use FrameMaker, thus the template is FUBAR.")

Good morning Cantina.

I bring a 200-gallon vat of coffee and 75 dozen donuts.

Oh, you blessed (said like phys ed) bastard, you!

Thanks. The test is Monday, so it'll be wine and unrestrained interpretive dancing books and practice tests all weekend long.

Now I imagine your final being like that dance audition scene in Flashdance: AMAZEBALLS with legwarmers.

We have management?

Of course. Who do you think files the annual dong garden permits?

:)

I have uploaded manuscript to kindle and am giving it a second to last, treble to last, last pass. Fargh, I hope it's not full o' suck.

Oh! And, in very good news, my 8 year old phalaenopsis orchid appears to want to bloom again, the trooper.

We need legwarmers back. And shoulder pads. And hair so big it sustains 8 pounds worth of aerosols and could be used as a substitute Olympic torch in case of emergency.
