No knowledgable and professional stable wants a free horse with such major issues. Horses are cheap now and you can get quality, healthy animals for cheap.

There are knowledgable folks running small operations and with solid income that might be interesting in taking him in and getting him diagnosed.

There are also idiots who want pretty babies and sure as shit wont put any more money into his health than the current owner, and who cares if the stallion's issues are hereditable.

This stallion has the odds against him, and I'm not in a position to save a horse thats got unknown health issues and is a stallion. He needs to be gelded, diagnoses, and then he needs to find a suitable home, if possible.

I have an emergency information request.

Can anyone please tell me if the US public library system uses the Dewey decimal system for filing non fiction?

Thanking you for saving my story.

That is very sad, Fen. I'm wondering if a horse rescue/rehab group might be interested?

It will vary from local system to local system, but many public libraries and most academic libraries now use LC (Library of Congress) classification.

Everyone in the office is dragging today. I thought I was just tired because yesterday was a long day (meetings and travel), but everyone else is sleepy, too. Starting to suspect chemical agents.

They're very reactive.

Perhaps I've been, unbeknownst to me, initiated into this agency. Because I am hella reactive today.

If I get one more "woe is me" thrown at me today, I'm going to give them something to woe about.

...

That sounded way fiercer in my head.

In other news: several food allergies. I has them :D

At this point, life is just getting hilarious. :D

I dunno if any rescues can take the stud as they are swamped and the stud is at least getting fed and minimal care ('roids) for his condition. More than most free horses get.

Which ones? Wheat and corn are my biggies. The cooking forum can give you lots of tips.

*Rolls the woe barrels outside and empties them into the gutter.*

Hey! I was saving those. I figured I could find a special place to dump them. Some people need to be given a load of woe. I just hadn't decided who yet.

Debio, I've got some half composted bullshit* you can come pick up.

*okay, it's actually multigender horse shit. But, if you want bullshit, join me at work.

Speaking of work, the company's security guard robbed a local grocery store IN HIS SMALL HOME TOWN last night and got $300 or so and a visit from the police.

Yay for stupid people.

I'm afraid woe is non-transferrable. Regulated by the Department of Karma.

:)

Isn't that...the opposite of what a security guard is supposed to do?

Depends on if he felt insecure by not being behind bars?

Now that you are getting a new job, I may take over as person with batshit crazy work stories.

Alright, as promised, here is the dire ad so you know I wasn't exaggerating.

Oh, poor boy. In the photo he looks like he's about to collapse under her, too. :( I do hope someone gets him out of there.

I'm afraid woe is non-transferrable.

You are entirely wrong. Trust me, I'm in IT. I am trained in inflicting woe.

Hmmm, I am reasonably certain I could give you a run for your money at that, but I don't like talking about work stuff online.
