Good morning to you all! Back at work for day 1 of 2 day work week. i am showing all the signs of hay fever, despite the fact it is not hay time, nor do I live near a hayfield.

I did little yesterday except read through my current WIP, after a week off of working on it. Surprisingly, I think it's pretty darn awesome. (I'll hate myself for saying that later... but) I gotta go home and write tonight. No Jackman movies until I finish writing. (Don't ask why I allowed a friend to thrust their Jackman movies upon me when there is writing to be done... don't ask.)

And I am on my 2nd cup of coffee.

I'm busy tweeting on my lunch about the Target Nurse-in that I cannot attend. Breastfeeding is normal!

There, I feel better. Other than the slight burning in my tummy from the tabasco sauce on my sandwich. Metabolism rev time!

Ooo, tabasco. It's years since I've had that.

Open fire going here, feel free to zoom round and roast a few chestnuts. Time for toast, Babylon 5 and then the ice hockey. Possibly with a book.

I just got home. Usually the birds arent around much until a little later for the afternoon frenzy.

we had to stop feeding our dogs on the front porch, because the local cardinals and blue jays had developed a taste for Dog Chow. They'd scold and dive-bomb and generally bully our extremely cowardly dog into retreat.

But of course it is. 2012 is going to ROCK!

It's windy as hell out and right around freezing by the thermostat. My juncos and sparrows are casually foraging and I'm watching them thinking 'stuff your little faces and go snuggle in a warm cave and roast some sunflowers!

My other birds are fairly scarce. My heated birdbath came today so I'm gonna set it up soon and they'll all be in for a treat
