So as I'm trying to lock the Impotant Personnel (er, funny typo is awkward) Important Personnel File Cabinet with a paperclip, I realize my job is providing training for a life of crime.

When I started the key for the cabinet could not be found. A super came and shimmied it with a random key. Later, my super told me just to do whatever to pick the lock. I've been using a paperclip ever since.

Security, we has none.

Dire.

I was at the hospital with my mom this morning and the anesthesist we were there to see was SUPER cute. That is all.

It's always good to improve your skill set. A gal never knows when she'll need to pick a lock. Put it on your resume - it might impress future employers!

Also, you probably shouldn't come to me for employment advice.

Or, in fact, any advice.

I was at the hospital with my mom this morning and the anesthesist we were there to see was SUPER cute. That is all.

...and your mum is okay and everything went fine, yes? Ha ha no forget that, tell us more about the cute anesthetist!

(Kidding. Hope your mum is okay.)

I have never trusted locks on safes and filing cabinets etc. since reading a Richard Feynman book where he talked about such things and how easy they were to get into.

Apparently alarm clocks are their most effective when the alarm is actually turned on.

Much like significant others.

Oh dear. Late for work?

I have work and a banana. The banana does not dance joyfully. This is strangely disappointing.

On time, but traffic goes from meh to ZOMG! in a matter of 15 minutes. Add rain and pour over ice and you get a morning filled with vehicular awesomeness.

Plus, I normally I like to get here early on Tuesdays.

Tuesdays.

*glares*

*shakes fist*

Tuuuuuuuueeeeeeesssdaaaaaaaaay!

It takes a long time to train a banana to dance. Start it off with something easy like a waltz and then work slowly up to the difficult stuff like the Roger Rabbit or Jitterbug.

I was supposed to be up early tomorrow because I started work before 7. But I've been called and told that 430 would be better. So no I can't decide whether to go to bed before midnight or not.

Ahh, the quandary

Forget it, I'll just kidnap these! *steals all the dancing bananas*

Maybe this is stupid, but I do not know either of this Mr Rodgers of this Mister Ed. I'm totally lost here.
All you need to know, Mister Ed is good and Mister Rogers is evil. Also Mister Ed is a horse of course.:)

She's fine, thank you :) We went there to discuss anesthesia for her upcoming cataracts surgery. I was bowled over by the adorableness of this guy. He was seriously, disturbingly adorable and funny.

My mom decided to give him my card during her surgery :tongue

Adding your Mom to my list of Favorites.

Now call the guy.

Do piranhas in an indoor pool count as a boobytrap?

Yes. Although how long they'd live in the chlorine is anyone's guess, so it's advised you spring the trap quickly.

Not, uh, like I have any experience.

Yeah, let's go with that. . . .

Welp, after a weekend of cleaning out the basement, I learned two very important lessons:

1) Always pre-clean-out the house before the movers show up. I lost count of the number of boxes filled with random papers and crap that should have been pitched 10 years ago.

2) Clean out the basement more often than once a decade.

On a completely unrelated note, anyone that wants several large trailers full of papers and crap, lemme know.

Have I mentioned the weather is in the high fifties here again? Shirt sleeve weather in January. I love the south!

We started out at 62 this 5am and by 5pm it will 35. Woo-freakin-hoo.
