I'd like to offer a public shout out to all the mods here. They're doing yeoman's work--guiding, encouraging, and sometimes cajoling and kvetching us all to be the best scribes we can. And they do this while frequently calling out the most shameless scammy peckerheads on the planet, saving many a good manscript from The Fate Worse Than Death.

In short and in sum, they tirelessly make AW the premier on-line writing site. I tip my chapeau to ye, ladies and gentlemen all.

More seriously though, I'd like to say that the job CaoPaux does in updating the threads and the index is invaluable - not least because whenever anyone comes here asking why they shouldn't give a new publisher a chance, we have something concrete to point to as the reason why not.

So thank you, CaoPaux, and keep rocking!

The fact that the average user (like me) doesn't notice how much work goes into a website like this just shows how well it is run. Thanks to everyone here who makes it possible for me to just be a member, have fun, learn how to write, and not worry about all the headaches that go with something like this.
