On the death of Christopher Hitchens

I am new to AW. Joined a week or so ago and just got my 50 posts so, to celebrate, I edited my profile, added a personal avatar, and added a signature. Given the news yesterday I decided to use a quote from Christopher Hitchens, which you can see below.

I'm wondering what the various writers here at AW think of Christopher Hitchens, given his death.

Any thoughts? Anyone?

And if not Hitchens, what about champagne or lobsters?

I heartily recommend the "New Posts" link at the top of the forum for seeing what all is happening on AW. I've found a lot of interesting threads and forums this way.

(And it took me a shamefully long time to notice that link!)
