The Wilco in question was born to the friend of a friend, and yes, he's named after the band as his mother is a huge fan. I confess to rolling my eyes at the school of baby naming that is intended to advertise mom and dad's very special unique hipness. It kind of makes me want to adopt a kid and name it Wang Chung.
