That's why it's called "March Madness"

...it makes those of us who don't really care about college basketball really, really mad that our fav programs are pre-empted. :)
Yep, I've definitely got that variety of March Madness :D.

It's even worse since my dad has Alzheimer's, and for some reason Elementary is one of the few programs that sticks with him really well. (That, and he kicks *ss playing along with Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, which are also both preempted )

Arrrgggghhhh.

hi
Don't know if anyone has mentioned this, got bogged down going through all the posts so decided just to say it any way.

The intro to me is an updated version of the 80's TV show the A -Team .
PoI has basically the same intro but obviosly new story & cast.

A-Team
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MVonyVSQoM
PoI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQKsYXH2LCM

Govt after them
We are on the run.
If you can find us kinda thing.
We will find you/maybe you can hire the A-Team.

and all that sort of thing.

A-Team for the 80's PoI for the 21st Cent.

BTW I like(d) both shows.

Very much enjoyed last night's episode. His own godson? Wow. And I'm unsure if Elias actually knows who the king is or not. Nice to see Bear get a "speaking" part :D. I had to rewind and watch his big moment, it was so much fun.

But... (spoiler space)

I was yelling at the TV at one point. What competent security team doesn't leave one person holding down the fort, especially when the intruder is believed to be a fairly harmless single person? That was a bit beyond my suspension of disbelief.

Is the Season Finale Next?

Totally enjoyed this episode, but I was so caught up in Lionel's "issues," that I didn't really care that much about the Dr's dilemma. ;)

I laughed out loud at what happened when the "captive" said to John: "You can't just leave me standing here!" :D

I truly respect these writers. It would have been so easy for them to come up with a "miraculous" cure for the doc but they didn't, they stayed true to the story and how he died was truly special, especially for a TV show.

The look that the HR guy had when he saw that the body had been moved was great also. He didn't need to say a word but you realized by his expression that he understood Fusco isn't alone and he's a real threat. Next week's episode looks to be incredible and like a season finale, but thankfully we get like three more episodes. Easily the best written show on TV and in my top three of all time with Lost and West Wing (only on season 3 so no spoilers please).

I think Root was talking to the machine. I think what's going to happen is the machine will be split in two. A good and a bad basically. One for Root and one for John/Finch.

Interesting? I guess I must be dense because after last night's episode, I officially give up! I'm so damn confused as to who everyone is - what their connections are and....I'm just lost. I won't bother to watch it again - especially because I can't freakin' understand whispering John half the time.

Carlene, did you come into the series part way through?

Root and Samantha Shaw are both characters that are part of the overall story arc and don't appear in every episode. Their appearance in this episode might be causing some of the confusion.

If playground king is right, then it sounds like they're setting up next season for The Machine's version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Dr. Robocop and Mr. H.A.L. 9000, maybe?

Especially seeing as the season finale is next week.

I admit I have to turn the volume way up when watching POI, but John's soft-spoken quips make him even more interesting. ;)

My father is hard of hearing, so our TV always has closed captioning on. I'd never noticed a problem :D.

I have watched every episode since the beginning. I have a problem with omnipotent characters like Root who are always 10 steps in front of everyone, have more money than God to do what they want and are smarter than everyone else on the planet. Like, how on earth did she know about the Washington big wig and how did she get to be his assistant??? Same with the assassin woman - she just happens to be in the right spot a the right time.

My husband started in the computer field way back, when a single computer was the size of a building - he's confused too.

I'd rather read a good book.

The "ultimate driving machine" BMW commercial lost something, since it came up right after they peeled out of the garage in that Ferrari :D.

Amazing

I was sitting on the edge of my loveseat the entire episode. :e2cry:

SPOILERS FOLLOW:

* Joss Carter ROCKS! Elias will forever be in her debt now.

* Where was Lionel? I missed him. :(

* Root's life was spared? Seriously?

* Phones ringing simultaneously in the end - What a cliffhanger until next season.

I haven't loved a show this much since Homicide:Life on the Streets. :)

I loved everything except the very end. I think we are starting to get character bloat. Did we really need to keep them all?

I know, right? Especially the two so-called bada** females.

IMHO, Leon and Lionel should have been in the season finale.
