Name a one hit wonder. Someone else try guessing that year (off the top of your head). Give another One-Hit-Wonder...and the beat goes on. Sound okay?

Mid-1980s, for sure. Maybe 1985.

Don't know the year of the song the previous person posted. I'll guess 1983.

Would I lie to you- Charles and Eddie

Fun fact- My hubby worked with Charles in 1998 at a call center. Being a one-hit wonder hit him hard. He would drink from a flask during working hours. He died in 2001 of cancer at only 37.

Great song: The Lion Sleeps Tonight by The Tokens 1961

In high school, our sports teams were The Lions. Before every game, the opposing teams would have the radio play this song. This went on for years. Maybe still.

LMFAO. This was sooo popular when I was younger. Hmmm 1999? 1998? mid to late 90's? Gosh, I should know that.

"Gotta Get Through This" - Daniel Beddingfield. Not sure if this is a 1-Hit-Wonder though.

Soft cell was a little earlier, probably 1982.

Macarena was about 1998.

How about "Life is a rock, but the radio rolled me" by Reunion.
