My writer-ego is whining this morning because a blogger who appeared to be in my target market responded to an email offering my book for review with one line: "This is heinous."
I am aware such responses are a risk of the work I'm doing. And since, out of a whole lot of contacts I've made, I've gotten 3 negative responses and one delusional one, I'm aware that I'm actually doing pretty well. Still, - ouch.
What are the more significant negative responses you have gotten, and how have you handled them? Were any actual teaching moments, rather than knee-jerk reactions?
