They may torture it out of me. This coffee is just...not right. How can you make coffee taste so bad? ugh.
Lurves ya, Susie and thanks for the cakes and
Read books by AWers!
Hope it goes well, NF.
I don't do slimey either. Uck.
Oh, and my bus never came, so I've had to skip a class today. And trying to do my readings has been difficult... I keep getting distracted.
Sooooo much reading to do! *faceplant*
Wouldn't it be easier to just read a plant than to do all my other readings?
Sort of like reading tea leaves.
"Mmm, I shall get an A in this subject. The leaves have spoken!"
I wonder if anyone at the Uni would buy that...
Are we talking about weed again?
Somehow I don't think weed will help me study...
Dude, where's my car?
Where's your car, dude?
Great writing at its best. (Actually, I quite liked that scene, and the later one with "Sweet" and "Dude". LOL.)
Good morning, house of weed.
I guess we'll have to rename this Grandma Susie's Joint.
NF, what are we going to do with you? (besides worry?) Hope it goes well for you.
We used to call the local bar a beer joint. Which was fine until, well, the hippie phase rolled through. (Which of course happened ten years later than everywhere else.) This caused a few sniggers and a bit of confusion but then we went back to beer joint. We're stubborn like that.
I wonder if you could do a psychic reading of your Qmilch shirt, then eat it?
*sends a Sumatran coffee to Nifer, and a dragon sized Qmilch blanket to keep her warm in the hospie.*
Hello house of potheads, coffee drinkers and HELLO n-f!
Greetings from coffee country where they either drink it loads of sugar or with sweetened condensed milk, rarely with just milk or black. This is the country that exports Java, Sumatra and Toraja (from Sulawesi) in huge quantities and still has enough for it's massive population. Bali Cofee is sold mainly in Bali, hardly ever exported.
n-f, you might want to try our famous Coffee Luwak which is coffee from civet cats. Yup - those cats are kept on coffee plantations just so they can eat the beans which do not get digested, passing through their gut, passed out from where waste is usually passed and then cleaned (so they say) and packed for people to enjoy coffee luwak. That, to me, would be how you get bad coffee. Some people say it has a lovely, smoky flavour. It's expensive. I have no desire to try it especially as I've never evn tried regular coffee. can't get past the smell.
Coffee luwak anyone? I can send you some packets if your customs people will let them through.
What was that Cliff said? Something about leaves?
He's right, yanno. Never leaf a turn unstoned, I always say.
And Ken. You almost blew it! Sheesh!! I thought you were going to tell them... tell them about... yanno. You scared me.
Hey Nighty. Awful that you're having surgery. Please get better soon.
Long time no see!!!
Off to bed soon. Leaving my villa, home for the past two years, this Friday. So sad. Neither mentally nor physically prepared but the new owner has been such a bully so I will not take him up on his generous offer to stay until the end of the month. Moving to a guest house (cheap hotel) for a week while I sort out all my tax and immigration matters and then off to Singapore for anything between three weeks and three months.
See you all tomorrow, funners!
Good luck, Rosie! Get well soon, NF! Hope you're not so sticky now, Syd! Cliff, pass the dutchy.
Good morning House of Qmilch. WTF?!? I go to bed and you people go crazy.
NF, I hope you're outta there soon.
Rosie, I read your bit about cats but not having my quota of coffee I'll have to go back and read it later. Whaaa?????
Don't Bogart that joint, Mary.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your delicious coffee.
And ION, I'm *rechecks for accuracy* 23 pages from being done with first round of edits on my current Urban Fantasy.
