Vamptasy Publishing

It looks like they opened in March but already have a number of authors signed up. Also, the covers don't make me want bleach my brain due to epic horridness. But it looks like they're closed to submissions at the moment? Has anyone worked with them or seen their contract?

I never trust a business that uses Comic Sans.

Hah, I live in Aberdeen.

They might have some decent books, but I'm doubting they'll be able to market efficiently.

That site takes forever to load for me; long enough that were I looking at it to possibly buy books rather than for research I would have clicked away long before it finished.

The black background etc. make it hard to read, too.

Same here, and I'm on a DSL connection. Just figured it out: it's embedded Flash files.

Neither does this. The editing on this sentence seems...not right to me.

Website is slow for me as well. The editor's website is very slow too. A bit strange to have an advert for a publishing business at the bottom of the submissions page: Ashley's Freelance Editing
