No AAP figures this month?

The AAP figures (for April) seem not to have been released yet. I have checked all the usual channels (including their own site) but I can't find any reference to them.

As far as I knew, they tend to be released between the 5th and the 10th, or if they are delayed, the following work-week. I've seen one commentator suggest that they release them early when print performs well, and late when it doesn't, but that certainly wasn't the case last month, and they may just be held up by the more detailed picture of the industry that was supposed to be ready for BEA (any word on that either btw?).

If anyone has any info on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Oh yes, I've been looking forward to that since I first heard of it in April//May. It was supposed to be ready for BEA wasn't it?

I would imagine the huge amount of work it's taking to put all of that data together is delaying the monthly report.

And they are (finally) out - not that anyone will notice today!

In short, hardback and paperback hold #1 and #2 spots for April. E-books in third, just like March. MMPB in doldrums.

Overall, year-on-year print down over 20% (more for MMPB), and E-books up well over 150%.
