Do you have AW on your Favorites toolbar?

You might want to consider getting one of the free "cleaner" programs at some time. It will make cleaning out your system easier.

I just tried again and it now tells me my password is incorrect. Do I use the same password to log into SYW as the one I log onto the site with? Because it's obviously working to log on.

No, the password to SYW is different.

It's: vista

Oh, dear God. I now see the problem. I'm using the wrong password.
That's why I kept asking . . .

Don't worry about it.

Hey, at least you almost have 50 posts now.

Yahoooooo! I 'm in. It was a case of my own technical density. Thank you so much for your patience. Now I'll go and try someone else's. Many thanks to everyone who posted here.

I'm going to edit your original post title so others will see that the problem has been solved.

If I remember correctly, the script that checks your post count to allow you to start new threads in SYW runs every couple hours or so. If you still can't, try again in a couple hours to give the server time to catch up with your post count.

You may still have to wait to start a new thread. The server updates the database about once an hour. It can take that long for it to recognize that someone has 50 posts.
