What? NO! They're my hockey team, I said. AND YAY GO HABS GO WE BEAT WINNIPEG 3-0 YAY HABS.

My football team is the Alouettes. But they don't get to play at the Superbowl, SO I go with my second favorite, the Pats.

OH! Wow. I always seem to take things the wrong way, unless they're spoken out to me. Haha.

I remember reading about a Montreal football team somewhere, come to think about it... Just didn't know what they were called. :p

Page 999... How long do these threads last?

All I can hear is yells from downstairs telling Tom to run. Well, that was a few moments ago, but still.

I'm not really a "sports" fan or an "individual team" fan, unless I personally know someone on said team.

That said, being in a crowd of sports fans is a very easy way to cheer me up, since their enthusiasm is terribly contagious. Even if I don't care about the outcome of the game, I still get endless entertainment from watching the reactions of the audience. It's why I didn't immediately dismiss attractive cheerleaders as being airheaded bimbos--because a lot of them shared that same appreciation for enthusiasm and it resulted in a few deep (and dare I say, impressive) conversations with them!

And all the while, I think "How can I harness that in my writing?" Because if I can get you as enthusiastic about my characters, well... the rest is easy.

:D

Wow. This is the creepiest role I've ever seen (speaking about Benedict as Paul Marshall).

Cheerleading is actually a really intense, dangerous, difficult sport.

I'M A SWIMMER THOUGH SO I AM A VERY EXPERIENCED CHEER-ER.

I CHEER FOR EVERYTHING.

Oh, certainly. Taekwondo gave me an appreciation for coordinated acrobatics, and I didn't have to worry about balancing 80-120 pounds above my head!

Point is, my interest in cheerleaders extended beyond "hey, she's hot." Which, okay, was part of it, but it also included a level of understanding on the "why" they were doing it.

Do you hear a lot of cheering when you swim? I'd think the water would get in the way.

You hear it when you breathe, but when you're a swimmer the real cheering is when you see your whole team cheering for you every time you breathe. It's the greatest thing. You take a stroke and there are fifteen people gathered in a clump walking in pace with your swimming getting really intense.

Especially when you swim a 400. Then you really NEED people to cheer for you.

I hate competitiveness. I get all tensed up, resulting in failure.

I am an ULTRA COMPETITIVE CHILD.

But meets are when you swim relays! And relays are where you have EPIPHANIES and learn THE MEANING OF LIFE and then you CHEER. CHEERING IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL.

YAY, congrats Zoom!!!

Aaaargh I have only made 500 words of progress today, and yet I spent an hour and a half making notes comparing Disney and young adult marketing. What is my life.
