I was sleepy, now I'm not.

Now I'm watching a review of Cannibal Ferox.

Pros: It has a realistic silencer sound effect

Cons: It's a horror movie that has pointless animal cruelty. As in the film crew randomly killed animals and forced them to fight one another because...well, for absolutely no reason. It's not part of the plot and server no point beyond the fact that the crew were a bunch of fucking sadists.

So, I think I am writing a comedic dystopian. This is odd. Very odd.

I'm sorry you're sick, Tally.

As far as I can see, I'm writing a bittersweet romantic comedy. Or something like that. :tongue

Bittersweet romantic comedy sounds good.

I'm just weirded out because I don't usually write funny/witty stuff, although there are obviously moments of that sort of thing -- my writing mostly leans serious -- and this is the most random book for me to suddenly decide to get all funny with, as it's dystopian.

But this is the protag's voice as it's coming to me, so I guess I'll see how I can work with it.

Tbh, I say "romantic comedy" but I don't know if my stuff is actually funny or not.

Yeah, it's always hard to know whether or not you're actually being funny -- or whether everyone's just laughing at you (story of my life :p).

I'm worried my mom's going to send me to school anyway, which would suck because I'm so sick to my stomach.

Hey, Tally! Nice work on hitting 16k. I hope your mum doesn't send you to school even though you're sick :( My parents always let me have time off whenever I wanted it -- I tried not to abuse that system toooo badly, haha.

Bye, Lisa!

ETA: I think I'm going to go read The Lies of Locke Lamora. It's verrrry good :)

I think I need to disable the internet if I'm ever to get any writing done.

But then I'd have no purpose in life.

Well done, choco! Keep up the good work for next sem :)

I'm just trying to sort out my graduation details right now, and it's kind of mind boggling. I can't believe I'm out of school, and about to startmy career. It's just so much to process.

Thanks, lvae. I feels a bit like a miracle / some blessed recording error, haha.

It must be really tough having to go out into the world. I mean, I felt shellshocked just starting college. I really hope things work out for you :)

Things have worked out really well so far. I'm enjoying my last few weeks of freedom before I move out and start my new job.

College is amazing. I don't think I fully took advantage of the opportunities I had while I'm studying... but college is really where it all begins. I hope this sem is just the beginning of a brilliant period of life for you. :)

Hey everyone!

That's great Choco! :D

I can't wait to start college. I just hope I meet lots of new people and that I have a nice roommate.

I still can't believe it's my last year of high school. It seems like I've been in hs FOREVER haha.
