Whoa! You write fast. Only 657? That's more than I usually write!

Thanks! But the quality of it if I write much faster than that goes downhill so fast; I reread my Nano book the other day and the quality is just *shudders* :D

I like the “Usually I'm remarkably good natured. Try me on a day that doesn't end in y.” (is that what Jace says to Clary when he wakes her up or something in COA? I remember he says something hilarious there... I think lol)

It's when Jace is put in the office of the werewolf pub and Clary is asked to talk sense into him. Yeah, I like that quote too. Kind of fits me :p

I am watching Sherlock too :D
Although, it is a little slow to start this week. Might go and watch the hotel.

Hmm. Did the United Kingdom have a drinking age in the 1880's? Particularly, 1880-1890? I think I might have a SNI, and I was developing scenes in my head.

I am hoping to do some writing later. Hit at least 10K (one scene), if not more. I'm going out tomorrow, hopefully, so I'm not going to stay up all night.

I feel the same way about my first "novel". It so bad, I hardly classify it as a novel...
I have a goal to write another 1k by the end of the day. I'll write another 500 now once I can come up with an idea for a next seen and finish off the rest tonight.

Go to the "Research" forum and ask.

Why hello there, fellow twifties!

How might you all be doing on this Sunday afternoon (in Chicago, relatively speaking)?

I have no idea why I decided to talk so properly just now. HA!

Hello, peeps!

What's good?

:D

I'm watching Sherlock. I only need 1.5K to hit 10K, so I'm determined to do that tonight.

I wish I didn't freak out about scene length so much...

How's TL and CMRH going?

Hey Karla. How's the writing going?

I have done abso-freaking-lutely NO writing today... Don't I just feel dandy.

Actually I feel really bad about it. Although, not like I'm hurting anyone but myself :S

CMRH is on hold. TL is my main WIP right now. After my huge write-a-thon Friday, I've been expanding scenes. Added 400 words yesterday. But I was too groggy to do much work yesterday. And I ended up sleeping for at least 14 hours last night. At least I caught up to hardly any sleep Thursday night (the night I started my write-a-thon). Hoping to do much more progress today! Just getting distractions out of the way for the next 12 minutes.

Yay!

What do you mean by "expanding scenes"?

There's a part of me that wants to edit the past scenes (well read them and make sure it's just stuff that's needed). As long as a scene isn't too short (less than 1K), I don't see why I need to worry too much.

I am a bare-bones-first-draft writer. I add more meat when I expand.

Ah, I see. I suppose I'm like that, haha.

I'm going to do the reading/editing next time I'm watching TV and I'm bored.

Another 1000 today?
What time is it where you are?
Here it's about half nine, and I'm aiming for another 500, to get halfway through my scene :)

When I write first drafts they are... just every single word in my head written down on paper usually. So about 3 times what the second draft will be.
This time, I am trying a different technique - write less, and see how it goes quality wise :D

Ahhh too lazy to add beats to some of these dialogue scenes.

Just gotta push myself, I guess...
