I'd word war or yawn if you guys are still doing it.

And Lisa i commented on your christmas story hope it helps.

I'm not doing very well keeping to the three act structure, but hopefully it should be okay.

I deleted a large chunk of the scene and where it ends now finishes the scene well (I hope that makes sense), but the inner critic is telling me that the scene is too short. It's only 1K, and I want my scenes to be roughly 1.5K. Gah.

Lisa - Stop worrying about length! Seriously. Just do what's natural for the story and what flows.

I need some motivation, so I'm up for a private yawn as well but can do it via PM or whatever... I can understand Karla's reason. In someways, if it's a novel you're really wanting to keep under wraps, then sharing it on a forum where hundreds of people can see it, kinda takes away the point of 'secret' lol

I don't ever think I could do 7000 in a day. I see authors tweeting all the time about their word counts and i'm like ! I know they do have deadlines... BUT STILL.! lol
Maybe I should make a deadline.

I know I shouldn't be worrying about it, and just see how close I can get to my ideal WC, but sometimes my inner critic does not know when to shut up.

I've just realised, I'm planning on doing a lot this year.

Feeling slightly queasy. Just had some christmas pudding with too much cream.. ugh... stomach revolting. lol oh well.

Ugh. My mother made me pancakes without telling me, and even though I was already really not hungry, I ate them anyway 'cause I didn't want to make her feel bad.

I've been posting stuff I've already written, so now I guess I've actually got to write something. ayayay!

Back from my (pathetic) self-word war . 779 words in 30 minutes. Not as good as the last one, but I'm pleased. I'm almost at 20k in my WIP. Just 700 more words... Taking a break to eat lunch, now.
Does anyone else have school tomorrow? I do.

God, I can't stand 'friends' that give little digs about their working situation. But I must restrain from replying because I don't want an argument. Sorry, a 'friend' on facebook is bugging me with her sly statuses.
