Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hi. I'm also a teen who writes for teens (I'm fifteen years old.) My name's Laura Casey, or just Laura, or Lasey. :) I'm about to finish my fourth novel, I intern for a lit agency, I'm a college student going for an English major, and writing is my life! Nice to meet you all. :)

AWESOME.

I cannot get into my writing frame of mind tonight. I do not know why.

WOAH LAURA YOU ARE A CRAZY ACCOMPLISHED FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD.

I feel like a failure.

I'm Tally, also 15. What agency are you interning for?

Also, one of our twiftie questions (since you answered the other one): What genre(s) do you write?

Tumblr cracks me up like woah.

So, this is the first day since I got back from North America that I haven't had dance at night. Yay for New Year's Holidays in the Caribbean!

THREE AND A HALF HOURS??? O.O

There is a part of me that wants to see if I can use the techniques in "Nail Your Novel" to plot my musical for Srenzy.

Hey Tally! Nice to meet you. :)

I'd prefer not to say the name of the agency, because it's the only one in the area, and it'd make it really obvious where I live... And I'm rather paranoid about personal information on the internet. But I can tell you that it's a rather small agency and the agent I work under is AAR certified. :) The agency deals with a variety of genres (non-fic and fic). It's actually cool that it's small, because it means I have more hands-on time with manuscripts, queries, and such.

As for the genre I write, it's quite a list. I write MG, YA, New Adult, Urban Fantasy, Epic Fantasy, and Contemp Fic.

God, I love "Hit Me With Your Best Shot/One Way Or Another" :D

I'm going to have at least one mash up in my musical.

So, what kind of experience are you getting in the internship?

(This stuff interests me because there aren't many interesting internships here in the Caribbean. At least, not on my island.)

For the record Tally, there are a lot of online publishing internships. One of my friends has one with L0w3nst3in Assoc. From what I hear, it's mainly slushpile reading.

Does anyone think it's too early to prepare for Script Frenzy. It'll only be when I'm seriously stuck with the writings.

ETA: Glee girls' "I Kissed A Girl" = so good it turned Klaine straight for a moment. :p

like, anywhere.

Well, I don't know what it's like in Britain, but here you can get them at Dollarama (which is the dollar store) but that's 'cause every party has them.

seriously, it's the world's biggest tip-off to underage drinking XD
