Hello! Once again, I'm trying to outline. Yeah . . . I just really need to find a way that works for me, because going by the seat of my pants isn't producing any results. So, how are all of you doing in your various writing endeavors?
Hey, Brooke. I'm more of a pantser myself but I sometimes find it helpful to make a bulleted list of scenes and things that need to happen in a rough order. Another thing I find helpful is to write a rough query draft before I start and then revise it on occasion as I draft.
Judging by the fact that I've spent the last two days playing Sims 3 and watching Burn Notice, my writing is not going well.
My writing's going okay. I haven't gotten nearly as much done as I'd hoped to, but that's partly because I've spent most of the last few days up at my dad's house--without my laptop. But AM is slowly but surely getting finished.
Ugh... i just watched the Black Swan movie... I hated it. So not worth the 2 hours. sooooooo not worth it.
On other news. My boyfriend put my WiP on his tablet as with some sort of nook app. (I asked him to see how he liked it so far, since i'm about half done) It looked so cool like a real book!
I was going to go out, but I wasn't feeling well, so I'm staying here instead. Plotting and writing today. I'm pretty sure I'm going to hit 7.5K - 9K before I go to bed.
Including the scenes I've got on index cards, I've got roughly 33K planned so far.
Is anyone planning on doing Script Frenzy? I'm going to plot my musical some time in the New Year, hopefully using the post it method (although I don't know how I'll keep track of the songs).
tried writing a script once for school... HATED IT! nope so couldnt do it.
I'm good. Just joined this online writing Beta/Crit group that someone started here on AW. Got a great group of writers and i'm really hoping this is the support system i've been looking for.
