“So we…” Laura began to explain

“We know, your brother told us the whole plan. Its wonderful.” Tom smiled sipping what looked to be coffee from his mug, or maybe tea?

“And how the hell did he know?” Laura cried

“Oh I don’t know.” Barb said staring directly a me “Guess a little bird told him?”

“Or that son of a B*&^ was spying on us!” She cried

“Mom did you hear what she just called you!?” Rob called from the steps then soon appeared in the kitchen. “I don’t think you’re a B*&^% mommy.” Rob smiled as he hopped up on the kitchen counter

“Oh how sweet of you honey.” Barb said rolling her eyes, as Tom chuckled

“Holy shit what are you guys…” Rob began then his eyes landed on me and he smiled sort of oddly. “Damn I knew one day you’d try to conform, hate to break it to you Laura, changing your hair color isn’t going to give you back a soul, your still a ginger on the inside.”
