Teens Writing for Teens, the 5th

Those are always my favorite parts in my books. The Holiday Hacker is one of my favorite villains because of his motives behind his sociopathic murdering sprees.

Although my MC always seems to end up dating the really awesome villains in my books. Nyles because she had to, to save her friends lives. Then Seth/Nathan/Chase (all alias' for one guy) because she was stupid. To be honest though his disguise was so good even Laura didn't remember him and she remembers everything.

so what's new with everyone, its very quite on here today.

It's going good thanks. Still optimising my spreadsheet so I can sum for date ranges. This is what I did today:

It's only 12:30 in the afternoon here, and I'm ahead of every over here, so that could be a factor

When coming up with the bad guys motive, Criminal Minds usually helps me out

If i knew what any of it meant i'm sure it would be very beautiful!

Lets see motives i've used.

Adam- a cocktail of mental problems
Seth- revenge for his families death
Nyles- narcissistic, ego maniac, who knew he was smart and powerful enough to take over the world
Josiah- physical abuse by his mother made him mentally handicap, sexual abuse from his mother and his first crush experience, turned him into a serial rapist and murder.
The Town of Pureline- a whole bag of worms that is way to complicated to explain in a sentence
Holiday Hacker- Abandonment issues and several different forms of abuse in the dozens of foster homes he lived in growing up. He re-enacted how he wished he could have murdered his foster families, with innocent families and people who looked similar.

I bought loads more index cards today, and coloured pens, so I'm prepped for the outlining.

I just need to figure out the subplot(s). I'm not sure if one -- a romance one -- would be enough...

Mine isn't a straight-out evil bad guy.

This is a fifteen-year-old billionaire genius child with a drug empire. I'm trying to find a way to make it hers, not the 'family business' type thing.

I have a bad guy in Underdogs, BUT I'M ALSO GOING TO HAVE A BIG BAD.

That sounds like a challenge...

Hmmm...

I'M JUST GOING TO HAVE A ROMANCE SUBPLOT BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE IT AND I SUCK AT SUBPLOTS.

And I have the abusive Dad thing in Sticks and Stones.

Drug empires cool.

My next book in the series deals with that. But to be honest the guy is rich because of alot of illegal dealing he operates. Drugs, guns, underground casinos, bombs, cadavers, organs... ect...

Although i still need to figure out how he is going to be connected to the FRP. Maybe he funds them? Or they keep him safe in exchange for him funding them? I still have no real idea how to make a firm connection from him to them and its driving me insane.

ETA!!!!!!!! THIS ISSUSE HAS BEEN BOTHERING ME FOR MONTHS!!!!! AND I THINK I JUST FIGURED IT OUT!!!! His family used to be Eliteist, with nice awesome rich life under the order. Then at around 20, when my MC's were going through the first book, they ended up ruining his life leaving him and his family poor. He turned to dealing drugs to make it by and eventually got his hands in everything making him a millionaire again. Then with his money he started funding the FRP who would hopefully take down the Freaks which originally ruined his life.

In this series I'm plotting right now, all of the six books tie in together (every single crime... it's going to be a challenge) and it comes up in the last book and smacks buddy right in the face.

I'm still playing around with things in my head...

I might have three bad guys in each of the books and then have THE BIG BAD at the end of the last one.

My BIG BAD comes in at the fifth (second last) book and is a big part of the last one.

I used to write my series where each book stood alone in a sense. I thought the characters could tie them together.... but over the summer i figured out how to connect every single one of my books with a grand epic ending!

Its really challenging, SO I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK WITH YOUR SERIES!!!

Also my BIG BAD is slightly present in the first book but never seen, then comes back in the second to last and last. Really my BIG BAD consists of ALOT of people. 20 in total. All of which my MC's have to find and assassinate before their power forces catch up to them.

They do stand alone, but when you get to the end, you finally realise that they're all a part of something.

At least, that's what I'm trying to get at.

What seems like random unlucky horrible events that always seem to target my characters, are actually all an elaborate masterful plan by forces they have no idea still existed. They don't start getting vague clues till the 8th and 10th books. Then in the second to the last book when they find out, the horrible truth that has really been happening them for the last 10 years, several crack completely. Mainly Pip and Ally.

I'm going to start my scribbling in a minute.

BLUE: Main plot
PINK: Romance
PURPLE: Line edits and random notes (for line edits, I believe in using favourite colours. Red makes me feel like I'm at school).

My big bad shows up... in like, Chapter 3. xD

The bad guy in the first book LOOKS LIKE RUPERT GRINT.

AND I FIGURED SHIT OUT.

OKAY.

THIS IS GOOD.

NOW I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHY SHE'S A POWER HUNGRY SOCIOPATH.

My bad guys are kind of like the L.M in Noughts and Crossess.

My BIG BAD are a team of heartless scientists.

MY MOTHER HAS PURCHASED THE TICKETS FOR THE HUNGER GAMES FOR ME AND MY FRIENDS. YAYAYAYAYAYAY.
