Having seen something on Facebook that one of Soul Mate's editors (who I met several years ago at the New England RWA conference, which is why it showed up in my Facebook feed) is taking pitches at Savvy Authors, I'm curious about this company. I've just read through this thread; have they improved their marketing at all, or is it still almost entirely on the shoulders of the authors?
I haven't written any romances since 2014 or so, but I'm working on some new stuff now and a bit stymied on where to send it since most of the publishers I was working with have gone out of business or aren't places I'm willing to work with anymore, or don't take the type of thing I'm working on. So I'm seeing what else is out there that might be viable. (Also have a bunch of books that have been reverted, but I'm thinking I'd do better self-pubbing those.)
