Hi,
I've been lurking for a few weeks and thought I might as well jump in and get my feet wet. I live in North Texas about 20 miles from where the wildfires raged a few weeks ago.
I've been "writing" stories since I was old enough to hold a crayon. I fell in love with Romance Novels when a friend slipped me Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught in high school. I wrote a lot in high school but let life get in the way after I got married and had three kids.
In the past few years I have rediscovered my passion and decided to try my hand at writing once again. My family is tolerant but not very supportive of my efforts which at times is discouraging.
Finding this sight has been very uplifting for me. It is encouraging to read what other writers have to say, not just what they have written. Did that even make sense?
Anyway...
