I have fiddy!

There's a script that runs every hour or so that checks member info and updates the database. After which time, anyone who has 50+ posts should be able to start a new thread in Share Your Work.

...which contains the steps to be taken if, after a reasonable time, you find you still can't start a new thread in SYW.

That was a really fast 50 posts!

Amd I have to thank you for bringing this to my attention. There was a board I wished to post on, early on, but found I couldn't. There wasn't a notice, but I assumed it had a requirement of 50 posts. Later, after I had made fifty posts, I tried again, but it didn't work, I sent a message to a mod, and forgot about it. I assume it's because I tried before the database was updated.

So anyway, I went back and was able to post my message, neat as you please. Thanks.

No, no ... it happens automatically, see? It's just that owing to database updating time, it may be as much as an hour or so after you reach 50 before you can post.

While you wait, I'd suggest going over your notes and having a nice cup of tea.
