The S5 ending was dark, though not entirely surprisingly-dark as others have said. This series pushes the traditional boundaries of its genre in a lot ways, likely due to the influence of who Hasbro knows is watching.
It was a fun season overall.
Starting to wonder where they can take this series though. We've exhausted Ponyville pretty well, and even as a home base it's a little bit worn.
We need them to go on a world-spanning adventure or something.
