Battle: LA

Yeah, I finally saw this today (I know I'm weeks behind the world). Whoever wrote it skipped the writers' workshop on intros. There were enough characters and more than enough backstory in the first fifteen minutes for half a dozen movies. My head ached. Fortunately little of it was ever touched on again.

I didn't hate it, but it certainly never surprised me. Not once.

I hated this more than I've hated a movie for a long time. How could a film about an alien invasion be so numbing? Too much shaky action without characterization/plot/interesting dialogue = uncontrollable boredom. It sucks because I was really looking forward to this.
