    K.Q. Publishing

This is in response to the topic of: 'K.Q. Publishing' in NYC.
Chelsea's manuscript is still missing in action. She tried contacting the publishing house direct but she kept receiving the message, "Mailbox is full...please try your call later."
She was told that she would receive a $1000 advance plus royalties. It's been about 7 months since she's heard from her editor. She went to New York to visit the publishing firm...I haven't heard from her since. I will keep everyone informed as soon as I know what happened.

How long has it been since you heard from her? Perhaps you should call the police.
In sleep he sang to me,
    In dreams he came.
That voice which calls to me,
    and speaks my name.
    And do I dream again?
    For now I find, The
phantom of the opera is there,
    Inside my mind.

Huh? Can we have some background, please?

I looked up KQ Publishing on Amazon--it hasn't published anything since 2000.

Yes, have you considered a missing-persons alert? This sounds serious.

Well, still no trace of K.Q. after 2000. Looks like it used to be a Christian-oriented POD.

Just as an FYI, the FountainPenn House of Publishing is now here: http://www.selfpublishnews.com/

FYI - FountainPenn looks to be defunct, however the principals (Roberto & Danielle-Kim Davis) are apparently still operating under a number of different names. More info here: http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31867

    Exclamation Dangerous!

Isn't New York quite dangerous...I mean just living there and such?

I'm living the sheltered life down here in Tennessee; though we're working on becoming the Meth-in-a-trailer capital of the world.

No worries, James. Here in Georgia we're the Meth-in-a-coffin capital.
