Smiley! I posted! Sigh. Again, while your writing helpful blog entries for writers, I just posted on my blog about who would win a grudge match: chicken or turkey. Some day I'll grow up.

Thanks, Parump. That helps. I'm hoping to print it this week. I just have to get a ream of paper first
Question for peeps who print off their MS for editing/revising.
What sort of formatting do you use? I'm looking to change things up, so it looks different to me, but I'd also like to save as much space as possible. I could puzzle around with it, but life is so much easier when others tell you the answers
JS, sorry about your kitty

I hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday.
Crap, guys. A whole friggin' query letter for a new book just came to me in one big brain dump. I soooo don't have time to start another new WIP. I'm only 12K into the current first draft I'm working on. But oh, look, so shiny...
No way I can work on two books at the same time. How in the world can you guys do it?
The next book I want to write (starting next week) has flashbacks to the '20's. Anyone know of any website that can help give accurate dialect of the time? I've never really done research for a book before but this one demands it. Dang. Writing's hard! It's like being in school all over again. Shudder. Nightmare central.
Wampus! Thanks. But don't you dare ruin my movie marathon Mel suggested. My wife wonders why I'm couch-potatoing. "Research," I told her. Most fun I've ever had writing.
