I'm so happy to hear so many are getting eReaders - I love my Kindle! (and so many of us here on the boards have Kindle/Nook/ePub books out - I'm plowing my way through them, hope you will be, too!)

I adore mine. I can't figure out the whole pdf thing though. I think my version is just too old. I don't have the new one.

It's still worth it. It has saved my joints, which have pain due to connective tissue disease. It has also saved so much space in the house and money. The amount of free books is astonishing. There are a few things on facebook you can connect to that let you in on new free deals. I've tried out some cool authors for free and bought more of their books later.

The pricing at Amazon is comparable to having a member card at any of the major chain stores, and the time saved is worth it.
