My name is - well, for the moment, why don't I stick with ravensmuse, ha ha. I'm moving in a few weeks and I'm deadly paranoid about jobs googling for me, ha.
I've been writing since I was in sophmore year of high school, but didn't take it really seriously until a few years ago. I've done NaNoWriMo, ended up as the ML for the North Shore region of Massachusetts the last year, and now, write a daily blog that basically covers whatever enters my head at eleven o' clock at night.
I'm a bit of a geek (roleplaying and video games) and kind of shy if I don't make myself not like that. Otherwise I come off as having something of an ego, but I try to rein that in when I notice it.
I write mostly fantasy based stuff, with some sci-fi and horror mixed in there. Lots of urban fantasy, but I do the traditional stuff too. What can I say? I was raised on Lackey and Dragonlance (and Lovecraft). I tend to write a lot of female characters, usually strong punky types, and I guess my writing is a little loose on the description but heavy on the dialogue. I've thought about writing comics, and am kind of experimenting with doing so.
Currently, I'm working on a webseries called Sweet Dream, Lullaby that updates a one thousand word chapter every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, about a group of five teenagers pulled together (well, four kids, and one cat) by a singular dream and then getting chased around by nightmares.
I also have a "novel" I've been working on for like, five years that I will never finish.
Since I cannot make posts without making them gigantic things, I'm just going to wrap things up here and say hello.
So - hello!
