I think this is a small, old company. I would like to submit there, because I like smaller places. I would like to see if anyone knows about their legitimacy though, before I do.

Wouldn't someone have to have an unspeakable ancestral taint in their blood in order to be published by Arkham?
It seems to me that most of their manuscripts would have to be incomplete, trailing off into utterances that could not come from any mortal throat, or at the very least, symbols not found on a mortal typewriter.
Though I suppose with all the specialised fonts around, that's getting easier.

Operations currently suspended following the death of April Derleth earlier this year. Her children intend to take over the business, although there has been little word as to when it will resume.
Resumed publishing in '16 (mostly backlist). Domain expired, though (like, this week). Given other activity, is hopefully an oversight.
