As your hostess, with the mostess, 
for the month of September, I thought we could do a challenge of sorts using the basics of some saying. Listed below are just a few I thought of, feel free to come up with others.
Famous sayings:
The grass is always greener on the other side.
A penny saved is a penny earned.
Don't count your chickens before they're hatched.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Always a day late and a dollar short.
You get the drift. Something with a moral value. (Never thought of the horror stories as having morals.)
I think it would be fun in the horror section. Make the saying your title and go from there, that way we will know what one you are doing. (Some, like me, are slow minded.) 
Try to keep it in the 1000 words or lower count, then post it in the SYW horror section for the September prompt. Have fun and feel free to spread the read.
