A bit strange to be a no0b, but hello

Hello all it is a bit strange to be signing in somewhere as a newbie. My name is Pam van Hylckama Vlieg (give ya five bucks if you can say that) and I am a mild mannered web journalist at Yahoo during the day. At night I write YA or read it. I am one of those strange people that don't watch television. I have two kids a Jack Russell and we reside in Sunny California at the moment. I have lived all over the world and traveling is a passion.
