sigh. love this.

i'm TO born, but i've also lived in Van and Kingston ON. right now i'm doing the expat thing in Hong Kong, and i miss canada terribly- well, no, at this very moment i'm home visiting family, but i'm dreading going back to HK...

i find it hilarious that whenever someone meets me out there, they ask if i'm american, and when i correct them (politely, natch ;)) they are always so apologetic. hee.

You should totally make a Tims commercial. Like that one where the guy is in Scotland.

I've pretty much just stayed on the east coast.

I'm just south of Pittsburgh and the only Canadian for about three counties, I reckon.

My hubby finds my accent "cute". I find his "incoherent".

;)

lol I worked retail at the mall one summer during college. I actually had a group of tourists come in who kept trying to make me say different words.

Two and half hours usually, though I have made it there in an hour and 45 minutes with my friend driving.

*cough*

And as I recall, there's a tree somewhere in between.

You're thinking of the span between Winnipeg and Calgary. There's at least three between here and Cow-town.

I went out west by bus a few years back. The guy who sold me the ticket recommended that I time the trip so that I was asleep for that stretch.

Good advice! I was awake for it on the trip back, and it was so boring I almost fell asleep...
