I'd kill for some rain right about now. Stupid South Australia has already hit summer.

It's still a bit chilly up here in Sydney....

I'm melting in this part of Queensland. It should've rained yesterday to kill the humidity, but the incoming storm fingered the sun and took off north.

Anybody want to do my assignment for me? It's been 4 hours so far, and I'm still not done.

Meanwhile, it's cooled down in Adelaide thanks to a strong breeze.

If the ash from my cigarette wasn't blowing in my face every time I go outside, I'd be thrilled.

It has absolutely poured where I am today. I couldn't believe it - it almost felt like queensland, what with the heat and rain in the air. It got dark at 3, and this was in daylight savings time, so that's some significant rain cover.

Our balcony leaked from the day it was built... a year later and it's only just been fixed... *sigh*

Fortunately, it only cost my patience, not money, as the building company had to pay to fix it as the house was most definitely under warranty.

The longest I ever took was a bit over 2 weeks. Research mostly but still

Feel free to hate me.

Although I must warn you - we had one assignment in Year 12 English where we were supposed to spend 20 hours doing community service and then write a report about it. The night before it was due, I realised, "Shit, I didn't do any service." So I made the whole thing up in about 4 hours.

It's a cautionary tale - I only got 50% for that one.

Turns out I'm *not* going to Tasmania next year...

Dang. I've never been there, and I was looking forward to escaping the SA summer via the coolness of Tassie. But I can't go in summer, so I won't be going at all. (Couldn't really afford it anyway...)

I've never been part of a board, so I didn't even know these things existed. I feel like it's Christmas.
